Hello friends! Today, I’m sharing a semi-vintage layout! I used a few Distress Oxides with some slimline stencils to add more color and patterns to the background. It was so much fun, too! Lately, I’ve been reaching for my slimline stencils. I just love them!

Disclaimer: “The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.”

First, I used the TCW2317 Fence Grid stencil and the Fired Brick Distress Oxide ink to create a fence background.

Then, I used the Peacock Feather Distress Oxide ink through the TCR2330 Patchwork Feather slimline stencil to create the feather.

Next, I used the excess ink from the brushes and the TCW2332 Daisy Spread to create the little daisies in the background.

After That, I added the papers, photo and embellishments to the center of the layout, being careful where I placed everything so that some of the stencil work remained visible.

Finally, I added some finishing touches using the TCW2329 Halftones Slimline Stencil to create photo corners full of tiny dots and I used the TCW2200 Thank You Hearts stamp and TCW2205 Sprinkle kindness stamps to add the heart and XO, along with the the “Be Happy” sentiment on the tag.

Seriously…this was so much fun to make. I had so much fun playing with the Distress Oxide inks with the slimline stencils and stamps! I hope you found this post inspiring. And the adorable puppies … 🙂
