Today I’m going to show you how I created my art journal page using TCW2208 Precious Sentiments Stamp set. I always stamp on tissue paper with permanent inks to create collage papers. When you apply them to your page with TCW9011 Matte Gel Medium the tissue paper disappears. I also found in my pile of painted papers a piece of tissue paper spray painted in black with TCW862 Maidenhair Fern.

The Crafters Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

I started by adding my tissue paper pieces with gel medium on a piece of painted paper. I love to using painted papers as a background. It helps the fear of the blank page!

As you can see below I also have letters to add to the page. I cut out the letters from magazines, scrapbook paper or use my alpha stamp sets to stamp and cut out.

When everything dried I cut off what pieces are over the edge, used a white pen to add some highlights and add color to the flowers. I took the piece and used gel medium to glue it into my journal.

When my muse has left the building I always use that time to create painted papers, monoprints, and stamps images on all sorts of paper. Its a great and easy way to start a project.
