Send Wine and a new stencil!~ Slim Card

Huge News!!!
The Crafter’s Workshop released new stencils and I am playing with one today to show you
how to make two quick cards using the TCW2314 slimline stencil!

So my original plan was to make three cards with foil and witty sentiments. True to my nature, I got bored and changed it up. Also, I messed up the third one and you now you only get two cards!:)

TCW provided me with some awesome goodies to play with, but the opinions and creations are my own.

I started with a heavy cardstock base (6 1/3 x 3 1/3), the new TCW2314, and TCW9048 Hot Foil Gel. Apply the gel with a palette knife and let it dry. It will turn clear once it’s dried.

I used Deco Foil and a hot laminator. The heat will make the foil “stick” to the dried gel.

Add a sentiment and attach to a topfolding A2 card.

OK, card two is just as simple. I got this idea from an Instagrammer (is that the correct term?) but messed it up. This is what I did: I pulled out my Distress Oxides and sprayed water on my glass plate.

Place the stencil onto the wet ink and then immediately onto the paper. I did this twice but did not get the impression I wanted. So I smooshed the part of the cardstock into the remaining color.

I aligned the stencil and used Wilted Violet Distress Oxide to add more color.
Add die-cut flowers and a sentiment on dimensional foam.

I hope you like today’s cards and will check out all the new yummy stencils!!

Talk soon!!
