Hello Crafty friends!
– The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own –
The Crafter’s Workshop products I have used today…
TCW246 – Swiss Dot TCW9009 TCW5005 – Swiss Dot TCW832 – Script Words TCW851 -Dotted Rings
If you enjoy seeing a page come together quickly, you can just go ahead and watch the process video below. Captions within the video will tell you what products I have used along the way.
Here is a rough idea of how I went about it…
1 – I start with a spray & print into a blank page of my art journal using TCW246 – Swiss Dots and Dina Wakley gloss spray in fuchsia.
2 – While the stencil is still on the page, I stencil through some fluorescent orange paint spots

3 – Over the entire page I used TCW832 – Script Words with Sky Blue gloss spray
4 – TCW9009 – Black Modeling Paste is next, stenciled through TCW 851 – Dotted rings 12×12, down the left hand side of the page

5 – repeat randomly around the page with the 6×6 size of TCW851 – Dotted Rings also
6 – while waiting for the paste to completely dry, draw a face onto the lighter side of the page. Keep it loose and not too structured.
7 – Accentuate some features or the face with Stabilo All pencil and coloured pencil
8 – Add some more stenciling in a darker color with TCW832 – Script Words in deep blue (night)

9 – add some smaller dots using TCW5005 – Swiss Dot around the page in a mixture of ruby & fluoro orange acrylic
10 – Collage some black and white flowers in sheer collage paper or napkins
11 – Add some red to the flowers, some teal to the leaves

12 – add some watercolor behind the flowers then lighten the area with a slight layer of gesso. These two should mix to color tone the gesso somewhat
13 -highlight the page a little with fluorescent paint pens and more fluorescent dots in strategic places
14 – using purple watercolor, edge the left of the spread and fill the small squares within each TCW851 – Dotted Ring
(more specific details are available within the video)
I do hope you have enjoyed this walk through of my design.
