Upcycled Tins

Hello there TCW fans, Farrel here for another mixed media project and today I thought I would share how I upcylced some tins using TCW products. I also have a video of the process which will be located at the end of the blog.

The containers I used was a Pringles tin and a plastic coffee container. To begin my projects, I applied 2 coats of TCW9001 White Gesso with a paint brush. I dried between coats with my heat tool.

Next I applied a range of acrylic paints to the 2 containers and used my heat tool to dry

For the small coffee container I used TCW827 Spring Medallion in the 6×6 and applied TCW9016 Spun Sugar Heavy Body Acrylic Paint with a make up sponge.

For the tall tin I used TCW810 Blooming Garden stencil in the 6×6 along with TCW9016 Spun Sugar Heavy Body Acrylic Paint and again used a make up sponge. Then I used a purple and pink coloured acrylic paint to highlight some of the stencil.

And here is the finished project. A great way to recycle those tins and add some bright and colourful storage in your craft space. Remember to click on the video link below to watch these come to life.
