Good Morning all! Helen here with a quick and easy art journal page! Sometimes we just don’t have a lot of time to spend playing with our TCW goodies, so a quick and easy art journal spread does the trick.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project.
The opinions I share are solely my own.
The Crafter’s Workshop products used:
A while ago, Jaime taught us about analogous color schemes (three colors next to each other on the color wheel) and I find myself using this when I am stuck on what colors to use on a project. This makes things so much easier, especially when you have a short amount of time to play. So, for this art journal page, I used the 3 colors shown below. I grabbed some inks that matched the colors, TCW966 12”x12” Marrakesh Tiles stencil, and sponged these 3 colors through the stencil over the entire page.
I then used TCW9002 Black Gesso and sponged through the circles of TCW909 Quadrangle Fan 6”x6” stencil randomly over the page.
To finish this off, I added some stamped words, my little ladies, some washi and a snarky quote.. of course! 5 minutes and done! Now time to go pick weeds!
Thanks for taking the time to see my project for today and share your art with us!
We would love to see your projects made with TCW products!
