Floral Background on Mixed Media Board

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today, I show you how to make a beautiful floral background on a Mixed Media Board. Here I use TCW968 Summer Meadow, TCW956 Viney Flowers and TCW966 Marrakesh Tiles.

***THE CRAFTER’S WORKSHOP PROVIDED ME SOME PRODUCTS TO CREATE THIS PROJECT. THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE SOLELY MY OWN.***

Mixed Media Board

I start by applying Some green and blue spray ink on TCW9054 Mixed Media Board 12X12.

I put TCW968 Summer Meadow (12X12) on TCW9054 Mixed Media Board (12X12) and I use several colors of stencil butter for the stencil flowers.

After the Stencil Butters have dried, I use TCW956 Viney Flowers with Distress Oxide ink in the corners and TCW966 Marrakesh Tiles with TCW9005 White Modeling Paste.

I draw the girl on a sheet of TCW9051 Watercolor Paper Pack.

I use TCW2318 Flying Butterflies Slimline Stencil with TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste to make the patterns of the dress. Then, I put color with watercolor paint directly on TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste when it is dry.

I stamp the other elements that I paint with watercolors. I cut out these as well as the girl. Finally, I stick them on my board.

I always apply Distress ink to the edges of the boards, which gives a more finished effect. Here I used dark gray Distress ink.
