Good morning TCW Crafters,

Butterflies & Daisies in my journal today with a really pretty geometric stencil background thanks to The Crafter’s Workshop. I really love this stencil, TCW969 -Illusions. Hope you enjoy what I created today!

…here is how the page came together step-by-step…

1 – Begin in a blank page of your journal using TCW969 – Illusions stencil. Stencil through with a variety of green stencil butters – Lime, Terre Verte, Chartreuse & Turquoise. Dry thoroughly.

2 – Once dry, pool a variety of green watercolours over the top of the stencilled background. Add some splatters. and again, dry thoroughly.

3 – Using some images from old books, add some daisies or other flowers and some butterflies to the page. Colour these with a little paint or pencil. You could use stamped images or even stencilled images instead to give a similar effect.

4 – Stamp a sentiment and pop some of the elements up with foam tape.

5 – A simple yet pretty page!
