Beautiful Mixed Media Board Background

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I show you how to make a nice background on a Mixed Media Board, with just a stencil, here TCW963 Hanging Vines (12X12) and three colors of Stencil Butter, Ocean Blue, Chartreuse and Gamboge with orange behind.

THE CRAFTER’S WORKSHOP PROVIDED ME SOME PRODUCTS TO CREATE THIS PROJECT.THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE SOLELY MY OWN.

I start by applying the orange color with Distress Oxide ink all over TCW9054 Mixed Media Board (12X12). Then, I spray a little water for a watercolor effect.

I spread the 3 colors of stencils Butters, Ocean Blue, Chartreuse and Gamboge on TCW963 Hanging Vines.

Here the beautiful background! I really like the mix of these 4 colors which form a magnificent combo.

And now, what are we going to do with this background. Several possibilities are available to you. You can leave it as is by adding a headline. You can complete it with stamps, etc…

For my part, I chose one of my favorite theme, a woman’s face, drawn on TCW9051 watercolor paper.

I put the color with watercolor paints.

I make patterns on the dress with TCW965 Barberry Buds and TCW Pearl White Stencil Butter.

I finish by stamping a sentence on the neck, as a necklace, with TCW2208 Precious Sentiments Clear Stamps. Then I cut it out and glue it to the board.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!

We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums. You can share it with us on our Facebook PageInstagram and Pinterest using hashtag #stencillove.
