Mixed Media Art Tags – Sunny Day

Happy New Year TCW Crafters!

Making some sunny art tags this afternoon! TCW943 – Garden Tile is a super pretty stencil and I teamed it up with my favourite floral clear stamp set TCW2208 – Precious Sentiments from The Crafter’s Workshop.

Hope these bring a little extra sunshine to your day

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own

The Crafter’s Workshop used within this page:

TCW943 – Garden Tile
TCW2208 – Precious Sentiments clear stamp set

If you enjoy seeing a page come together quickly, you can just go ahead and watch the process video below. Captions within the video will tell you what products I have used along the way.

…here is how the page came together step-by-step…

1 – Begin with a set of blank white shipping tags. Stencil through TCW943 – Garden Tile with embossing ink using a makeup sponge. Emboss with clear or white embossing powder.

2- Pool watercolour paint across the dried and embossed stencilled image. If you use four colours that are next to each other on the colour wheel all should blend well across the tags.

3 – Stamp out a number of flowers from TCW2208 – Precious Sentiments stamp set. These are always fun and pretty flowers to add to any project so I often cut a few out in front of the TV when I am watching Netflix.

4 – Back the tags with some white card to strengthen and straighten the tags. Hole punch the tag holes and edge with Archival ink in leaf green.

5 – I grab some large title words and arrange with the flowers, popping some up with double sided foam squares and others with glue pen.

6 – I add some bright yellow satin ribbon and use a few gel and paint pens to colour in the small dots in the centre of some of the flowers

I do hope you have enjoyed this walk through of these bright art tags. Hopefully it gives you inspiration to get you sitting down at your craft table to use some of the fab TCW stencils and clear stamp sets in your next projects

Enjoy!
