Halloween month is here peeps! My favorite month using my favorite color combo of black, purple, orange and green. Plus, it a legit way to use those spider web stencils! Let’s dive into the spooky trees and all the spider webs!
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.
In my large Dylusions journal, I sprayed an ombre set of Dylusions spray inks (Crushed Grape, Pink Flamingo, Tangerine Dream) from top to bottom with spritzes of water in between to help blend the colors. I soaked up any extra ink with scrap paper and dried it completely with a heat tool.
I then added some spider web stamping and applied my focal images. The focal images are plastic pieces (advertised as stickers even though they definitely are not) that I collaged together with some tacky glue. At the very bottom of the layout I applied a layer of black acrylic paint over TCW2309 Grass Slimline Stencil.
For the final touches, I applied black acrylic splashes with a small paint brush as well as some Distress Mica Stains to give a little bit of glimmer to this layout.
