Hi,
I have an art journal cover for you today. I hope you like it.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some products to work with, but the opinions I share here are solely my own.
This art journal cover was made with the newly released Eileen Hull Full journal cover dies. These are large dies and require Big shot Plus die-cutting machine. She also has precut journal cover kits in her Etsy shop.
Front cover:
I applied a layer of TCW9007 Clear gesso on the journal covers and let it dry.
Next, I brayered acrylic paints on the journal cover.
Applied acrylic paints with a cosmetic sponge, through the new TCW947 Beaded mandala stencil.
Added a bit of texture with TCW9005 White modeling paste and TCW2314 Punch card Slimline stencil.
Finished the cover by adding a quote and a border.
Back cover:
I glued tissue paper with stamped butterflies on the cover with TCW9011 matte gel medium.
Applied acrylic paints with a brush.
Applied TCW9005 White modeling paste through the TCW2314 Punch card Slimline stencil with a Palette knife.
Lastly, I added a quote from the TCW2209 Beautiful Sentiments stamp set.
Thank you for your valuable time,
Take care,
The Crafter’s Workshop design team member.
Absolutely stunning!
LOVE!!!
