Sassy Bookmarks

Good morning, my sassy friends! Charmaine here with a fun and easy project. I took a lesson from my DT partner, Helen Hollinger, and just started doodling with some stencils. Little did I know what would emerge from all that color and untapped sass!

TCW provided me with some awesome goodies to play with, but the opinions and creations are my own.

My inspiration came from recently acquiring this large slimline tag die from a locally woman-owned company, just like TCW. I pulled out my Dylusions Ink spray and filled an A4-sized heavyweight cardstock with random color.

Next, I pulled out the TCW884 Explosion and painted it right onto that colored print. I didn’t like how it looked, so I pulled out my Gel Press…

Here is the TCW424 Mod Spirals on the Gel Press. I use Liquitex Basics and PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Opaque
paint for my prints.

To add more color and dimension, add TCW901 Geo Netting stencil all over the page.

Bring back that Explosion stencil with pink paint.

Pull out your Posca pens and start doodling.

Go ahead and die cut three tags. Make sure everything is dry before getting wet paint on the die.

I bought these girls last year (online shopping during Pandemic year over at Hobby Lobby) and noticed that all my choices of paint colors coordinate with them! Double bonus! Finish the bookmarks with pink tulle and
BackChat stickers from Dylusions.

I hope you liked today’s edition of “Let’s see what happens when..?” LOL!

Talk soon,
Charmaine
