Hello friends! Nicole here with a pretty mixed media layout I created using a variety of stamps from the Crafter’s Workshop. I keep forgetting that I have these beauties in my stash! Normally, I reach for my stencils, but not today! I decided to have fun and get inky with the TCW2201 Sending Love, TCW2209 Beautiful Sentiments, and TCW2204 When it Rains stamp sets.
Disclaimer: “The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.”
To begin, I sprayed some sky blue mist onto the watercolor paper and used a heat gun to speed up the drying time. I’m impatient when I create and I don’t like to wait too long for stuff to dry because once I have an idea, I just run with it! After the background was completely dry, I added a variety of scraps of patterned paper and embellishments to the center of the layout.
I stamped the “Hello Darling” sentiment from the TCW2201 Sending Love Stamp Set in pink ink to use as the title of the layout and then added the acrylic heart and gem above it to help fill in the white space at the top.
While I was creating this layout, I realized I didn’t have as many embellishments that went with the color scheme so I decided to make my own! I stamped a few clouds from the TCW2204 When it Rains Stamp Set onto a scrap piece of paper, colored it in using a marker and then fussy cut the images out to use on my layout. This is such a simple technique and it can save you a few dollars!
I used a black pen and a circle template to doodle two circles around the middle of the layout.
To complete the layout, I used a ruler and pen to add a little journaling at the bottom. Then I stamped the “It’s a good day for a good day” sentiment from the Beautiful Sentiments stamp set.
What do you think? What are your favorite stamp sets and how do you use them for your projects? We’d love to hear? Simply comment in the comment section. Thank you so much for visiting today!
