Happy Friday! I’ve been going through my pile of paintings that I put away to look at a later date. I realized that date never came and the pile is getting quite large. I decided to pull one without looking and either finish it or use gesso to start again.
I used the following to create this painting:
The Crafters Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.
The mistake I made on this canvas was the black modeling paste. I had an idea in my head on how I wanted to to add the lilacs but my head and my hands were not working well together. Here is what is looked like before my changes.
To change it I pulled out the Lilac stencil again and put it back on the painting.
Using a palette knife I added TCW Stencil Butters through the stencil to change the color. Stencil butters are thick and creamy and covers all the black modeling paste.
What a big difference!!!! I love the way it came out. Stencil Butters to the rescue!!! If you have used TCW Stencil Butters to hide your mistakes share it with us on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
