Here we are again TCW friends!
A small mixed media project today using TCW Mixed Media board and the beautiful new TCW Clear stamps – TCW2208 Precious Sentiments & TCW2209 Beautiful Sentiments.

…here is a step-by-step so you can see how the page came together…
1 – Starting with a small 6×6 piece of TCW9053 Mixed Media board, stencil through TCW927 Cactus Dahlia with TCW9002 Black Gesso
2 – Surround the stenciled image with tiny dots using a white gelly roll pen.
3 – Next using TCW2208 Precious Sentiments Clear Stamp, stamp out a number of flowers onto light card, fussy cut them, ready to adhere to the centre of the finished board.
4 – Stamp out your favourite butterfly from TCW2209 Beautiful Sentiments Clear Stamp and color in brightly with pencils or watercolors. Fussy cut the butterfly out also.
5 – Adhere the black and white stamped flowers to the centre of the original stenciled image from TCW927 Cactus Dahlia. Use foam squares to bump up some of the flowers giving them some dimension.
6 – Adhere the butterfly in the same way. Make it seem as if it is flying away off the page.
7 – Add a sentiment of your choice from either stamp set
8 – Lastly, add a dark blue watercolor shadow around the outside edge of the original stenciled image – TCW927 Cactus Dahlia
