Hello TCW friends!
Whilst quietly welcoming in the New Year this year, I reflected upon all the wishes I had for my family for 2020 and what we were looking forward to that year. New Year 2021 has been a little different…
My page today is about shared wishes… and how wonderful it is to have people around you, loved ones and friends, holding your future wishes with you as you look forward towards your shared dreams.
– The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own –

Of course, if you prefer to see a page come together quickly. you can just go ahead and watch the process video below. Captions within the video will tell you what products I have used along the way.
…here is the steps that were involved…
1 – Begin in your journal by randomly painting Dina Wakley Media heavy body acrylic in Night across the page. Add some splats and dry off.
2 – Using TCW874 – Poppy Grid, stencil through with DWM Sedona
4 – Add some warm yellow watercolour highlights into the flower outlines from the stencil TCW874 – Poppy grid
5 – Draw out some figures onto your page. Block out the background around the figures with pale lemon paint and paint in the hair and face, along with some simple features.
6 – Add some 5-pointed flowers using Stabilo Woody’s, Stabilo All pencils and white gel pens.
7 – Add some splatters in gold across the page
I do hope you have enjoyed this walk through and video of my latest art journal page. I especially love the golden sheen of the TCW9026 – Champagne Gold modelling paste.
Until next time… have fun!
