Happy Friday Everyone! With my heightened anxiety and stress over all the happenings in the world today, I find it hard to create. I walk into my art room which gives me comfort but nothing creative pops into my head. That’s when I reach for my art journals and flip through the pages. There are always finished pages that I wished I started on a canvas instead of the journal.
Today I chose this page to recreate on a canvas.

Below is a list of all the products I used:
- TCW813 Blue Print
- TCW861 Happy Dandelions
- TCW779 Wild Roses
- TCW721 Big Wreath
- TCW918 Seahorse
- TCW831 Faithful Tree
- TCW9005 White Modeling Paste
- TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste
- TCW9001 White Gesso
- TCW9009 Black Modeling Paste
The Crafters Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.
To start my project, I used a brayer and added white gesso, turquoise, and pink acrylic paint to the panel. I love using a brayer because it adds texture to the background. When the paint dried I added the BluePrint stencil with black modeling paste. I painted the house white.

I added the Big Wreath stencil to the house with modeling paste to look like climbing roses. Painted it in shades of green and a pop of bright pink paint for roses.

Next, I added the sea vine to the panel in green acrylic paint. I used Light & Fluffy modeling paste to add the flowers. I added each flower in different places on the panel, waited for them to dry, and then added more.

Once everything dried I painted the flowers to finish the piece. Here is the side by side comparison of my journal and the canvas. What do you think?

I wish I used more of the Blueprint stencil on the canvas. The journal page looks like the house is overgrown with flowers like it’s been sitting empty for years but I still like how it came out. My daughter loves it so it might be a Christmas gift!

I hope you try to recreate your art journal pages onto a canvas. Share them with us on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
