I want to share a mixed media journal cover with you. I hope you like it.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me the products to work with, but the opinions I share here, are solely my own.
I used the TCW9053 Mixed media boards for my journal’s covers.
Applied a layer of TCW9001 White Gesso to the Mixed Media board and let it dry.
Next, I glued some book paper on to the Mixed Media board with TCW9011 Gel medium matte.
Added acrylic paints with a brayer.
Did background stenciling with acrylic paints and TCW 853 Circle Tiles stencil. I applied the acrylic paint through the stencil with a cosmetic sponge.
Applied TCW9009 Black Modeling paste through the TCW814 Mystical Tree stencil.
Next, I glued the covers to an accordian fold thick black cardstock.
I’m going to use it for art journaling but this can also be used as an album for pictures and scrapbooking.
That’s all for now.
We would love to see your projects made with The Crafter’s Workshop products.
Thank you for visiting,
The Crafter’s Workshop design team member.
