Good Morning all! Helen here with a postcard I created using ColorSparkx and a gel press 5” x 7” plate. I haven’t used ColorSparkx before, and I have to say… I LOVE the vibrant colors! And remember… a little goes a long way!

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.
Steps used to create this postcard….
Step 1- I gathered all my goodies to use for this…. Gel Press 5”x7” plate; TCW ColorSparkx Alpine colors (Terre Verte, Turquoise, Wisteria); TCW Stencil TCW926 – Bubble Rebound; Titanium White acrylic paint; brayer; white cardstock sheets.

Step 2 – Using my brayer, I applied a layer of Titanium White acrylic paint to the gel press plate. I also applied a layer of paint to an extra sheet of cardstock (on the side).

Step 3 – I then placed the TCW Stencil TCW926 – Bubble Rebound on top of the wet paint. I used the ColorSparkx Alpine colors and tapped out some of each color on the stencil and paint. While it was still wet, I used my brayer and rolled the ColorSparkx through the stencil on the gel press to mix the wet paint and ColorSparks together.

Step 4 – Lifting off the stencil, I then turned it upside down on the extra blank painted cardstock I had so I could get a reverse print with the ColorSparkx still on the stencil. The top two images are actually just cardstock that I used to clean off the gel press plate and the brayer. 4 backgrounds for the price of !!

Step 5 – I picked out one of the prints I wanted to use and applied a layer of TCW9039 Copper Penny Modeling Paste using a spatula through the butterfly on TCW Stencil TCW925- Nature’s Circuitry, towards the top middle of my background.

Step 6 – Once this dried, I added my girl and sentiment! Voila! Done!
