Imagine | Art Journal Page

Hey there arty friends! Thank you for joining me today for another art journal page.

TCW Provided me with some goodies to play with, but the opinions and creations are my own.

I have a full process video for you below on how this page is made:

Firstly I grab my A4 art journal by Dylusions and put a base coat of white and light blue down using a brayer. When this is semi-dry, I then put a stencil down and spray using Dina Wakley gloss spray. The stencil I used is TCW908 – Handcut Blossom for this in a 12 x 12 size. I wanted the larger pattern.

Now I grab some white paint and fade the stencil pattern on the right side as my focal point will be there, and I need that to be a peaceful place for you eye to rest. The white paint mix with the spray, and I am totally fine with this, but if you want crisp white, dry the layers in between.

I cut out an image form the Dina Wakley collage collective and then glued the focal point on the right side. I made sure to smudge some of that wet paint around the image to get a good blend between the collage and the actual page.

Use the same stencil as before, TCW908 – Handcut Blossom, and off set the stencil to the previous pink, then lightly add some light blue to the background.

I really like having words on my art journal pages. Today I am using TCW585 – Inspired words and I use the word Imagine and stencil it out on the left side in dark blue. (This stencil is no longer available at scrapbook.com but you could try this one – TRY ME)

You can leave the page as it is, or add some journaling like I will to finish it off.

It’s as easy as that. Hope you guys had lots of fun following along with me.

Thanks for joining me today 🙂

Till next time friends 🙂
