Hi there TCW fans!! Farrel here to show you how I created this quick and easy art journal page. This page is great if you want to create but don’t have a lot of time to do so. So let me show you how it was done.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.
I started by painting TCW9002 Black Gesso as a border around the edges of my small art journal page. I then trimmed down a page from an old book and started to add some colour. I love the effect a rubber brayer gives on paper so I used that with Dylusions Paints in Lemon Zest, Squeezed Orange and Peony Blush.
Using those same colours, I used a make up sponge to TCW687s Positivity stencil. I used the triangles and the flower images of the stencil. I also used TCW9002 Black Gesso for a border.
Next I used TCW778 Free Swirl and TCW9019 Candy Apple Red Heavy Body Acrylic Paint to cover the the whole page.
Next I stamped some hearts and my sentiment onto white cardstock and used a baby wipe to add colour to the hearts. I used the same 3 paint colours for this as I did for the background.
Then to finish it off I used a black and white paint pen to draw a border around the edges.
