Happy Thursday Everyone! Farrel here to share with you all an art journal page I created using photo paper, Distress Oxides and of course TCW Products. There is also a process video at the end of the blog if you wish to watch me in action.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.
For this I used my large Dina Wakely art journal, I am still trying to get use to using such a large journal but who doesn’t love stepping out of their comfort zone? lol
To being I used a sheet of A4 glossy photo paper and apply my distress oxides to the paper using a rubber brayer and also using the smooshing technique.
I used my heat tool to dry between colours. Then used TCW812 Coronet Wreath with more Distress Oxides.
Now for the magical part….. I used a baby wipe to wipe away the oxides and POW!!! The end result is amazing!! The colours are vibrant
I used as make up sponge to apply TCW9002 Black Gesso to TCW749 Floating City.
I used TCW9002 Black Gesso to cover up a page in my journal that I did some experimenting on a while ago. Then for a border, I used TCW804 Mesh Blocks to add some doodling with my Uni Posca white pen.
After adhering my photo paper to the page, I then added some stamping for a title and just like that another art journal page done. Here is the video….
Thanks for dropping and I look forward to sharing my next project with you all soon.
