“Art House” Wall Palette.

Howdy Bloggers, Lisa here with a new TCW update .

Today I am sharing a piece I recently created. The epiphany hit me while I was painting using a wooden palette, and while I was going to create directly upon my own palette, I asked my partner to assist and swiftly he returned with this piece of ply wood cut to shape. A handy man in the family is always a bonus.

I started with one coat of TCW 9001 White Gesso and allowed the surface to dry. Then added a little random tissue paper with TCW 9011 Gel Medium. More drying time.

I have included a quick video to share the simple process of how I created this ‘Art House” sign.

As one can see, I have used a combination of 3 different TCW stencils to create this piece.

Those include TCW823 Rose Bouquet, TCW2168 Farmhouse, TCW2174 Market  .

While I highlighted my background using the lushly coloured TCW9020 Raspberry Sorbet Heavy Body Paint.

I have used the Art By Marlene Floral stamps BM27 as focal embellishments.

I am loving the results.

Big thanks for dropping by to see what is happening on the TCW blog today.

I’ll be back in no time at all with another TCW update.

Lisa xx
