Oh , it is a happy day again! I am over the moon to share a new ART BY MARLENE post with you. In this post I would like to show you the many faces of one stencil. I used one of my new stencils, Positivity , that I designed for The Crafter’s Workshop’s 2017 Winter release.
I love quite a few things about stencils….
I love their versatility in placement.
I love the way you can audition a stencil to see if it fits where you want to use it.
I love the variation in styles that you can create.
I love that you can use them on almost any substrate.
I love the amount of possiblities it gives you to use different mediums and paints.
I love that it makes any project easy as pie!
I love the way you can layer with stencils.
I love that I can use a brush, a sponge, a spray or even my fingers to apply paint through it.
I love that I can use them in a background, combine with other stencils or as a stand alone main feature.
Because of this, I decided …that instead of sharing a tutorial with you, I would show you 11 different ways in which I used my ‘Positivity’ stencil in 2017. Hi Sharon, I am actually teaching an online class this summer, where I will be teaching how you can use my stencils in creating similar pages and always have great results.
I love them all, but 1 would be my favorite
So hard to choose, love them all…………but have to go with 11. It’s so cute!!

For me its 6 and 7 there fab
I love them all. But when I really must make a choice, it will be nr. 1.
I love them all for different reasons (texture paste, crackle, colors, sentiments, color, size (ATC), design and how cute is that creature….almost looks like my pug) but my favorite is #1with all the layers. Thank you!
