So, I decided to create a followup to my post called “Peace, a doodled art journal page“. It was all about doodling with a stencil. I recently had a chance to spend some time coloring in my doodle and wanted to share that with you!
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.
This is the page I had doodled using the stencil, 6×6 Doodle Borders. At the point it is above, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to color it in or not.
A couple weeks ago, I treated myself to an inexpensive set of gel pens and when I found myself a little stressed out this past weekend, I thought a bit of coloring might be a good idea!
I dumped out all of the gel pens and randomly grabbed colors that spoke to me. I didn’t have any plan in mind.
Playing in all the different shapes with the gel pens brought my stress level down immensely!
The next time you feel a little crazed, grab a stencil, trace the patterns and go to town filling in the shapes with some color! It works wonders for your stress levels.
Thanks for joining me today!
