Hi there Crafter’s Workshop fans! Amy Prior back with you all again today, this time sharing a scrapbooking layout created using some fabulous Crafter’s Workshop stencils, alongside Prima Marketing Watercolor pencils, and some fun Shimmerz paint products.
For my background on this layout, I have started with a piece of white Bazzil Cardshoppe Cardstock, that I have drawn some of the shapes from both 12×12 and 6×6 Oblong Crafter’s Workshop Stencils. Because I have drawn these circles with watercolor pencils, I have then continued to colour inside the shapes using a water brush, making sure I have cleaned the brush carefully between colours to avoid any mud mixing.
Once dry, I have then wet the tip of the pencils and traced around the edges of each shape again, adding more colour and definition to the edges of each shape. To finish off this effect, I have added random scribble tracings around the edges of all the shapes using a Fude Ball Pen in a very rough manner. Bringing this black into the background gives a more graffiti/graphic look that matches the chosen patterned papers perfectly.
To finish off the background for this layout, I have added some random areas of Coptic Impressions Crafter’s Workshop stencilling, using some Shimmerz Dazzlerz paint with a palette knife. I have twisted the stencil around in different angles etc to overlap previous stencilling to add more dimension and interest.
I have finally painted some Blue Fern Studios Chipboard with Shimmerz Inklingz and added some Vintaj Patina to a metal charm to help finish the layout off. After layering all of the layers of paper and chipboard together, I have added some rough doodling with the Fude Ball Pen around the photos and patterned papers as well to bring that graphic effect into the layers.
Lots of gorgeous flowers and embellishments finished off this layout perfectly and I was so happy with how the background turned out. I have used the following Crafter’s Workshop stencils for this Mixed Media Scrapbooking Page Layout…
I also have a complete process video for this layout to share with you all below…
