Hello friends! This is Carmen visiting with you again. Today I have a wonderful little tag that you can make and give to someone special. I always have some handy to use as a gift tag, send with a card or give as a bookmarker.
I started with a plain #10 Manila tag and painted the entire tag with Americana Acrylic Paint in Driftwood. Once dry, I used TCW 549S (Mini Oblong) with Green Mist acrylic paint.
The next layer was adding more details with TCW529s (Mini Ravenwood) stencil with Raw Sienna and Golden Straw. I gave the tag a little more color by apply Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Evergreen Bough, all around the edges.
I wanted to added some texture to the word I had chosen “Create”, so I used my Liquitex Light Modeling paste with Butterscotch acrylic paint. So easy and smooth to apply with a palette knife.
A burlap twine to finish it off and it’s ready to give to that special person, or perhaps keep it for yourself. If you’re like me, I have several books I’m reading at the same time and I’m always in need of a book marker.
I hope you enjoyed creating with me today! But, remember to come back often and see what the team is creating.
Blessings,
