Hi Crafter’s Workshop fans! Amy Prior back with you all again today, this time sharing some scrapbooking layouts that I have created recently using lots of gorgeous The Crafter’s Workshop stencils.
It is so very hard to pick a single favourite stencil from TCW. In saying that, the scripted stencils seem to be my most used and therefore I guess one of my favourite types of stencils available from The Crafter’s Workshop.
Underneath the layers of gorgeous flowers and embellishments, lie layers of beautiful Kaisercraft papers mounted on top of Shimmerz Paint Products. For the background watercolor effect, I have used Shimmerz Inklingz just mixed with a little water, followed by some Shimmerz Texturez paint paste through a Crafter’s Workshop Stencil.
I have used the 6 inch TCW261 ‘Art Is…’ Stencil for this layout and although it is an oldy, it is still one of my most used stencils.
The next layout that I have to share with you all today is a fun and funky bright layout mounted onto a black cardstock background. Black backgrounds can be so much fun to work with especially when pared with bold and daring colors.
The background for this layout was very quick and simple. I have mixed some Viva Decor Inka Gold with a little water, before dry brushing onto the background in various strokes. I have used the Magenta and Turquoise colors and have then drizzled some of the Inka Gold/Water mixture around randomly as well.
For this layout I have used the 6 inch ‘Believe Script’ Stencil from Crafter’s Workshop. Again another script stencil that I just cannot live without. I use this regularly in both the 6 inch and 12 inch designs.
Finally I have a layout to share with you all that features lots of gorgeous Prima Marketing papers and embellishments, as well as SEVEN stencils all used together. Yes you read right, I said 7!
The background of this layout was created using lots of gorgeous Crafter’s Workshop circle style stencils. I have gradually added various mediums through each stencil such as Molding Paste (modelling paste/texture paste), plus some Shimmerz Dazzlerz and Texturez paint products. When the base of texture was dry, I have added some various Lindy’s Stamp Gang Magical Powders mixed with a touch of water to bring some color and shimmer back to the background.
Finally I have added some Inka Gold to the textured areas and some Brown Archival Ink through a couple more stencils to complete. I just love how this layout came together, even though I seem to have lost 2 of my letter stickers between creating and photography. The sub-title at the bottom right of the page is meant to say ‘Reptile Park’ not eptil park hehe.
Here are those seven Crafter’s Workshop stencils that were used for this layout.
TCW384S Well Rounded TCW553S Stone Ring TCW554S Butterfly Collage
TCW2081 Radar TCW2083 Trivet TCW454S Specimens
Thanks so much for stopping by the Crafter’s Workshop blog today. I hope that I have inspired you all with new and fun ways to use your Crafter’s Workshop stash. Until next time, happy scrapping!
