Hi Everyone, I’m here checking in from a weekend retreat I am attending. I have been having lots of fun meeting lots of ladies I have known online for many years, being inspired, learning in classes and having LOADS of fun! Each year this retreat has a theme, and it became evident very early that Triangles were all the go!
The Crafter’s Workshop has triangles featured in a number of stencils and today I chose three to have a little fun with in different ways creating some wonderful layers of triangles.
I also added some triangle chipboard pieces to add a little dimension to the page
Here are some more detailed pictures of the page so you can get up close and personal.
This layering technique would work with so many different shapes? What shapes would you like to try? Some of my favourites are circles and squares. I would love to hear your favourites or ideas so leave a comment and let me know.
As part of going away for a crop this week I decided to get all my 6 x 6″ stencils organised as I was flying interstate for this one. I couldn’t bear not to take them but I just knew having them in some folders would be so much easier to manage. Each stencil was put in one of the pockets on their own in numerical order. I labelled the pocket with the name and the stencil code by writing with a permanent marker on each one.
On the front of each folder I also added the stencils contained in that folder.
How do you store your stencils? I store both my 12 x 12″ and 6 x 6″ in pockets like this. I would love to hear how you might store yours or if I’ve possibly given you an idea on how you could store the. Leave a comment or share a pic on our Facebook page and let me know.
Hope you love my share today!!

Absolutely love your how-to store your 6 x 6 … I don’t know yet what kind of binder you use but I’ll look around to find something.
However, I doubt I can find some for the 12 x 12 … Any idea where I can find one?
Beck, I would love to know where you got your book of pockets. Online? I carry mine in a 12×12 paper carrier- not the best way.
This is a neat stencil- so many patterns. I really like what you did to the blue and pink triangles making them dimensional.
Hi vicki, I am not sure where to buy these books online in the US, but they were just in our local office supplies store. I know 8.5 x 11 ones are really common here so that might be an option. I also keep my 12 x 12 ones in a ring binder in pockets also 🙂 bit behind in putting those away so I will be onto it shortly!
Thanks.
WOW!!! Love how you’ve used the washi to section off a triangle section. Awesome design….. you rock xx
Thanks Fiona <3
This layout is stunning Beck – I meant to say that on the weekend 🙂
