Hi Everyone Beck BT here today, and I am sharing with you a canvas I created using The Crafter’s workshop ‘Gothic Romance‘ (TCW457) stencil teamed up with lots of fun Viva Las VegaStamps to create a colouful piece of art.
I stencilled using the various designs as part of the stencil. I mixed whipped spackle with Gelatos to create the different colours to stencil with.
I used the Viva Las VegaStamps for my tissue paper transfer technique:
- Add some pattern tissue paper to the background using a transfer technique:
- Stamp some images onto the tissue paper with permanent ink any desired stamps
- Apply some modge Podge/gel medium/ decopage paste to the canvas (whichever you have) where you are going to add the tissue paper.
- Place the tissue paper over the top and then apply more paste to the top to seal it in.
This created some fun interest with the different images
Here you can see the texture I created with the stencil by mixing some Fabter-Castell Gelatos into their Whipped Spackle and using a pallet knife stencilling. I did this with some different colours teal and purple. Oh it was so much fun!
I hope you enjoyed my share today and I have inspired to you to get creating!
Happy Crafting!!

very cool. I like the blending of paste and color before stenciling. Thanks for the tissue idea. Will try it for sure.
I love everything about this. The colors for one, are fabulous and the images fit them perfectly! In addition, the texture is wonderful!
