Hi Everyone! Karenliz here.
Today is supposed to be Marlene’s post but she asked if one of the design team members could take her spot. Of course I said yes but asked her to give me challenge by picking one of your stencil designs and anything else she wanted.
She chose her Flying Cat stencil and texture.
To be honest this was a very big challenge. Cats are not my favorite animal. So I started by creating a journal cover. I used TCW Black Modeling Paste, fluorescent acrylic paints, TCW Gel Medium, glitter and wire for the whiskers.
But it’s still using the stencil as a cat. It’s a challenge what else can I do with this cat. If you look at her black stripes, what do you see?
I see funky little city by the sea. I used TCW Modeling Paste to set up my little city. I added a few stars to the sky too.
Cats have those glow in the dark eyes and the colors are amazing.
But the Cheshire Cat can disappear!
I used Marlene’s Celebration Bouquet stencil to add greenery and leave just enough room for the cat! Can you see him?
How many ways can you use one stencil?
Marlene, how did I do?
Thanks so much for stopping.
I hope you enjoyed my projects.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project.
The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.
