Happy Wednesday all! Helen here with a couple of cards using the new slimline stencils and the new creamy Stencil Butters! I usually have a hard time making cards for some weird reason, but using the new slimline stencils makes this job much easier! I made 2 cards using basically the same techniques.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project.
The opinions I share are solely my own.
The Crafter’s Workshop Products Used:
TCW2333 Slimline Stencil Sunflowers in Milk Pail
TCW2336 Slimline Stencil Weeping Hibiscus
TCW9095 Stencil Butter Apricot
TCW9092 Stencil Butter Eggplant
TCW9094 Stencil Butter Chocolate
TCW9099 Black Tie Foil Transfer Sheets 6×6
TCW2202 Love You 4×6 clear stamps
To start, I used an 8” x 11” piece of white cardstock, placed TCW2333 Slimline Stencil Sunflowers in Milk Pail and TCW2336 Slimline Stencil Weeping Hibiscus on the page.

I used TCW9025 plastic Palette Knife, and spread TCW9095 Stencil Butter Apricot through the sunflowers of TCW2333 stencil and TCW9092 Stencil Butter Eggplant through the Hibiscus of TCW2336 stencil. These new stencil butters are so gorgeous… beautiful fall colors!!

Once these dried, I placed TCW2333 Slimline Stencil Sunflowers in milk pail back over my sunflowers, and spread TCW9049 Tacky-When-Dry Gel over the milk pail part of the stencil.

Once the gel was dry, I used a 6×6 sheet of our brand new TCW9099 Black Tie Foil Transfer Sheets, placed it over the dry gel, rubbed gently and the foil transferred onto the milk pail. Easy peasy! I will totally honest here… I have used different types of foils in the past, but these ones work perfect with the gel! Just sayin’.

Now for the Hibiscus card… I placed TCW2336 Slimline Stencil Weeping Hibiscus back over the dry stencil butter, and spread TCW9094 Stencil Butter Chocolate over the stem and pot using the palette knife. Let this dry.

Using TCW9059 ColorSparx Grasslands in colors Olive Green and Burnt Orange, I mixed these 2 colors together, added a bit of water and used a brush to apply some color here and there on the leaves of the both cards. Also added color to the sunflower centres and the hibiscus flower pot.

For the sentiment I used TCW2202 Love You 4×6 clear stamps and black archival inked the “Thanks” twice on a sheet of white card stock, fussy cut these, and inked the edges. I glued them to my cards.

Here they are, matted and ready to send to a couple friends.

Thanks for taking the time to see my project for today!
