Mixed Media Art Cards – Shine

Hey TCW Crafter’s

I don’t make cards very often, but that is what I am getting crafty with today. I am using new release goodies again. Some new stencils and one of the new stardust pastes… You have to check them out !! I hope you like what I have created and it brings a little inspo to your day…. Please enjoy!

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own

The Crafter’s Workshop products used within this page:
TCW991 – Leafy Fans
TCW979 – Bluebird
TCW9085 – Pearl white STARDUST butter
TCW9079 – 6×6 Folded Card & Envelope set of 10
TCW9009 – Black modelling paste
TCW9025 – Plastic palette knife

If you enjoy seeing a page materialise quickly, you can just go ahead and watch the process video below. Captions within the video will tell you what products I have used along the way.

…here’s how it all came together…

1 – CARD ONE – Using a pack of TCW9079 – 6×6 Folded Card & Envelope set of 10 – I stencil through TCW991 Leafy Fans with TCW9009 Black modelling paste. I cut it out neatly once dry.

2 – I stencil through TCW979 Bluebird onto black card with TCW9085 Pearl white stardust butter Let it dry thoroughly.

3 – I adjoin both these elements onto a base card and add a sentiment and some colour to the bird’s eye.

4 – CARD TWO – I use TCW991 Leafy fans and spray a variety of Dina Wakley gloss sprays onto the stencil. I turn it over and stamp the stencil onto a card base. I also use the backing paper that I spray onto and tear the corners away. I add these spayed corners to the base cards with dimensional foam tape.

5 – I add some pencil work to the card and add a foam sentiment to the front of the card to finish

I hope this pair of cards bring a smile to your face and a bit of inspiration to get you sitting at your craft table! Would love to see what you create with all the new release stencils and butters from The Crafter’s Workshop.

Enjoy!
