Mixed Media Art Tags – Grow

Good morning TCW Crafter’s

Bring on the sunshine!

Today, I make some bright tags with stencils and ColorSparx powders from The Crafter’s Workshop. I am trying to bring on Spring here in Australia, I am not enjoying all the cold and wet weather we are having at the moment! I hope you like what I have created and it brings a little sunshine to your day…. Please enjoy!

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own

The Crafter’s Workshop products used within this page:

TCW963 – Hanging Vines
TCW9056 – ColorSparx powders – SunSplash
TCW9057 – ColorSparx powders – Poolside
TCW9058 – ColorSparx powders – Alpine

If you enjoy seeing a page materialise quickly, you can just go ahead and watch the process video below. Captions within the video will tell you what products I have used along the way.

…here is how the page came together step-by-step…

1 – Starting with some large tags and stencil TCW963 – Hanging Vines, stencil through with Opaque Crackle Paste and leave to dry.

2 – Once completely dry, add TCW9056 – Sun Splash, TCW9057 – Poolside & TCW9058 – Alpine ColorSparx powders over the top of the tags and spray with water. I also add water with a brush to spread the pigment. Dry completely.

3 – Once dry, adhere to strong backing card to straighten out the tags.

4 – Using a bright green ink pad and Dina Wakley block alpha rubber stamps, stamp the word GROW and attach to the tags.

5 – Add ribbons and edge with dark green or turquoise ink.

I hope these bright tags bring a smile to your face and a bit of inspiration to get you sitting at your craft table! would love to see what you create with the fab stencils and ColorSparx powders from The Crafter’s Workshop.

Enjoy!
