“Spring bookmarks” with Slimline Stencils.

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today, I’m going to do a little spring bookmarks tutorial. I always do several at the same time and often with the same technique. For these I used TCW2327 Dandelion Puffs, TCW2326 Sunflower Fiends and TCW2304 Bricks Vertical.

THE CRAFTER’S WORKSHOP PROVIDED ME SOME PRODUCTS TO CREATE THIS PROJECT.THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE SOLELY MY OWN.

I start by making the background with some Distress Ink. Then, I spray some water on it to make a watercolor effect.

Once the background is dry, I use TCW2327 Dandelion Puffs with some stencils Butters.

Here the result with TCW9061 Chartreuse and TCW9065 Fuchsia.

I also use TCW2304 Bricks Vertical on the background with some Distress Oxide.

I stamp the birds and plants on TCW9051 watercolor paper and add color before cutting them out and gluing them to the bookmark.

Then I stamp a title and put some colors with watercolor paint on the stencil.

Here the result!

Here is another one done with exactly the same tutorial using TCW2326 Sunflower Friends.

Some more details.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!
