If you enjoy seeing a page come together quickly, you can just go ahead and watch the process video below. Captions within the video will tell you what products I have used along the way.

…here is how the page came together step-by-step…

1 – Begin by making a mask. Draw a heart onto a piece of paper, cut out the inside of the heart and tape the paper together. Use a new mask each time you stencil through to ensure no transfer of stencil butter from tag to tag.

2 – Using a blank piece of card in whatever colour you choose (I use black, white and kraft in the video) Place the mask over the blank card and choose a stencil and place the stencil over the mask. Stencil through with a couple of different colours of stencil butter each time to add a little interest

3 – Dry the stencil butter carefully and completely. Fussy cut the heart out and mount onto a sturdy second piece of card for stability.

4 – Using TCW2208 – Precious sentiments stamp, stamp out some pretty flowers and sentiments. I know hardly anyone will want to fussy cut these out… but yes….I enjoy that, so I cut a whole lot of them whilst I watched Netflix 🙂

5 – Arrange and attach flowers, ribbon and sentiments to the top of the tags and then you are ready to add them to whatever pretty presents you are gifting!

I do hope you have enjoyed this walk through of how I made these cute heart tags. Hopefully it gives you inspiration to make your own, or to try some of the fab TCW stencils and stencil butters in your next projects

Enjoy!
