Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I am playing with some yummy new stencils from The Crafter’s Workshop and making an art card for a friend! She knows I love snark and appreciates my weird sense of humor!

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project.
The opinions I share are solely my own.
The Crafter’s Workshop Products Used:
TCW2204 When it Rains 4×6 Clear Stamp
I wanted this card to be a bit monotone so I started by cutting a sheet of TCW9051 Watercolor paper pack papers in half, to give me a card about 5.5” x 8.5”. I gessoed the whole card using TCW9001 White Gesso, and then a layer of DecoArt chalky Vintage acrylic paint that I mixed half and half with white for a muted color. I placed TCW947 Beaded Mandala stencil over some areas of the wet acrylic and wiped off through the stencil using a baby wipe

Once this was dry, I used about 2/3: 1/3 of Vintage paint to White acrylic to give the color more tone. I used TCW 945 Star Flower Net and applied the paint through the stencil using a sponge, and only down the left side, bottom and top right corner. I am starting the layers for my main image at the end.

Using TCW955 Buffalo Plaid Square , I taped off a section I wanted to use on the left side of my card (over the existing layers). I sponged the Vintage acrylic paint over this… mixed about ¾ – 1/4 with white.

Once dried, I used TCW 2167 Halftone Vortex stencil and the full colored acrylic paint, and sponged through the circles in random areas over the entire card.

I added some stamping using the stars from TCW2204 When it Rains 4×6 Clear Stamp set and added some splatters of the acrylic leftover paint.

To finish off my card, I added more black splatters, some edge stamping, washi tape, my little girl and of course my snarky sentiment!

Happy Creating!!
I have been following your posts for a bit. I use the stencil ideas. Some of your projects use a bit of ephemera. Look as I might, I can’t seem to find out where they come from.
Thanks
Mostly I just use photos from pinterest. And thanks!
Love it Helen hahaha xx
Thanks!!!
