Happy Wednesday everyone! Did you know that The Crafter’s Workshop has 6” x 6” cards?? They are great for watercolors and stamping. I thought I would make a card for a friend who needs a smile!
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project.
The opinions I share are solely my own.
TCW Products Used:
TCW9079 6×6 Folded Card and Envelope set of 10
TCW2205 Sprinkle Kindness clear stamps
To start with, I used a TCW9079 6×6 Folded Card , and masked off a border using masking tape. I then used a bit of TCW9058 ColorSparx – Alpine colors Turquoise and Terre Verte mixed with water to apply a layer of watercolor to the base using a brush. I liked the fact that the card took the water quite well with hardly any wrinkling. Made me happy!
Once the card was dry, I used TCW903 Boxwood Print stencil and some aquamarine archival ink to make a subtle background over the ColorSparx with a makeup sponge.
Using TCW2205 Sprinkle Kindness clear stamps , I stamped the main image using Versamark and black embossing powder and heat this with my heat gun.
I then removed the masking tape, added an outline and some gems and of course, some black splatters.
And I just had to add the little sentiment in the bottom right corner as well!
A fun, easy card for a dear friend!
And… if you haven’t used TCW card bases and envelopes, you really should!!
Thanks for taking the time to see my project for today!
We would love to see your projects made with TCW products!
