Hello Crafty Friends,

Marie-Christine with you today! Here in France, it’s summer, the good weather has arrived, so let’s take advantage of it and go enjoy a good ice cream on this wonderful summer day. For this Art Journal page, I used TCW805 Newport Tiles, TCW888 Dendritic and TCW904 Petal Burst.

I start by making the background by gluing printed rice paper with TCW9006 Gel Medium Gloss in various places on the page. Then I add acrylic paint around it (blue, neon yellow and neon pink).

I continue by passing some white acrylic paint around the papers.

I spread the acrylic paint with my fingers, it is much more precise than with a brush.

I am using TCW888 Dendritic with green Distress ink on the top left of the page.

And there I am using TCW805 Newport Tiles with TCW9005 White Modeling Paste at the top right of the page.

I do some white spots with a wet brush and TCW9001 White Gesso.

I do the same at the bottom of the page with TCW904 Petal Burst and TCW805 Newport Tiles, but this time I use some TCW9062 Lime Green Stencil Butter.

I adhere my image found on Pinterest, then I color the swimsuit and hat with a pink watercolor brush. Ice cream in green.

I add butterflies and the title.
