“Where flowers bloom so does hope” Mixed Media Board

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today, I present to you a creation on a Mixed Media Sign Board. I imagined this woman with long hair who represents an aquatic scene. I chose TCW743 crazy Waves, TCW496 Sea Creatures and TCW916 Lighthouse.

***THE CRAFTER’S WORKSHOP PROVIDED ME SOME PRODUCTS TO CREATE THIS PROJECT.THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE SOLELY MY OWN.***

I start by drawing the face and the hair on TCW9072 Mixed Media Sign Board, then I colour the background with two shades of blue watercolor paint.

To represent the seaside, I use TCW916 Lighthouse with TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste on the edge of the hair.

I do patterns in the hair to make a wave look with TCW743 Crazy Waves and TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste. I stamp small stars with TCW2204 When it rains Clear Stamps.

I put color on TCW916 Lighthouse with watercolor paint. I stamp the clouds with TCW2204 When it rains Clear Stamps and color them. For now they are pink, but they will turn blue, yes I sometimes change my mind along the way!!!

I finish the face with watercolor and I add the little stars on the cheek with TCW2204 When It rains Clear Stamps.

I always finish a face by tracing a thin black line on the contours and also on the eyes, nose and mouth. A few small white dots can also lighten a face.

I use TCW496 Sea Creatures with TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste, after drying I paint them with watercolor and cut them.

I stamp a seagull and fish that I color. I also stamp flowers with TCW2208 Precious Sentiments Clear Stamps which I also color with watercolor paint.

I always put a light layer of TCW9052 Super Thick Gel on the stamps that I color and cut. This gives them a shiny and finished look.

I add a little green on a few circles in the hair, then I start to arrange and glue the stars, shells, fish, seagull and flowers on the board. I stamp the title on the neck with TCW2208 Precious Sentiments Clear Stamps.

There you go, the clouds are blue !!!

Some more details.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!
