Hello everyone!
Tammy (aka Tambarambaa) back today to share another fun page in my Art Journal…….

As usual, it’s full of color – and what could be more colorful than rainbows right? They are such a reminder to me that there is magic all around us. They always make me think that good things are coming…..so I wish for you rainbows, rainbows, rainbows!!

TCW provided me with awesome goodies to play with, but the art and the opinions are solely my own.
Let’s take a look at how this came together….
I began by adding TCW9001 White Gesso to my Large Dylusions Art Journal.
Once dry, I began with red paint (I used Dylusions for the vibrancy) and drew a large arc shape. Whilst wet I laid down the NEW stencil TCW932 Peruvian Lily and working in sections wiped a wet baby wipe through the stencil to remove some of the paint.

I then repeated this with orange paint using TCW424 Mod Spirals Stencil.
Time to move onto yellow and this time I used the dots from TCW886 Shape Landscape.
I basically continued this, ensuring my arcs got smaller and smaller, moving through the colors of the rainbow.
I also chose different styles of stencils – florals, spots, and different patterns making sure if I used two different florals they weren’t right alongside one another.
This helps to define the colored sections.

Time to move onto green using TCW5036 Flower Field Stencil, then light blue and NEW stencil TCW2302 Star Sparkle Slimline.
Finally I used a deep blue and NEW stencil TCW931 Collarette Dahlia and purple paint teamed with TCW253 Fish Scales.

This is the result – now it’s time to tidy it all up.
I do this with a Black Paint Pen – I use Life of Colour pens. I outline in between each color with a thicker pen, and then add scribbles with a finer pen.

I then used this NEW stamp – TCW2204 When it Rains and some black Archival Ink- I stamped the stars into the rainbow, using both the clustered stars and the trailing stars.

I also added in a few of those cute little clouds.
I stamped that gorgeous quote into top left hand corner….

This is the result…..

I decided to add some hand drawn stars, but didn’t trust myself, so I grabbed TCW2302 Star Sparkle Slimline Stencil again.

I added a black border and some flicks of paint….

Now the only thing missing was a title – I’ve recently purchased stencil TCW686 Julie’s Words – it’s perfect for adding in titles.
The one that says ‘Believe in Magic’ is made for this, so I placed it onto my rainbow and sponged black paint through it using a makeup sponge.

Once dry, I added some white paint pens to highlight it.

Ta da!!

I love it!! So much fun to create!

That’s it from me today! I hope it has inspired you to get out your paint and stencils and create your own rainbow……let’s fill the world with color and magic!!
