Bookclub Bookmarks… eventually!

Good Morning all!  Helen here with some fun bookmarks for you today! One day, when we are semi-back to normal, I do hope our bookclub starts up again. And to be prepared, I am making everyone some fun bookmarks just because!

Finished bookmarks using stencils and stamps

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

Product Used:

To start, I used a sheet of TCW9051 Watercolor Paper, which is so thick and amazing to work with!!I added some dabs of pink, yellow and purple acrylic paint to the page and used my brayer to roll the paint around.

Using TCW9051 watercolor paper, add a few drops of acrylic paints (I used pink, yellow and purple) and a brayer to smoosh the colors around until you are happy with how they look.

I then used TCW346 Honeycomb stencil,  TCW586 Raven Mosaic stencilTCW879 Gauze stencil  to add some texture to the background. I sponged some acrylic paint in random areas using pink, green and orange. Messy and fun!

Once that dried, I cut the sheet down into pieces approximately 2/5” x 6.5”. I used TCW2204 When it Rains clear stamps and stamped some stars over my bookmarks using VersaFine black ink. I then stamped some flowers here and there using TCW2208 Precious Sentiments clear stamps and versamark. I heat embossed the flowers with black embossing powder.

I colorized the flower petals with some blue PITT pens, added a black mat, and string… bookmarks done and ready to hand out at the next bookclub meeting!

Cut down the paper to bookmark size, color in the flower petals using a PITT pen, mat with black cardstock, add a string at the top, and done! Enjoy!

Thanks for taking the time to see my project for today!

We would love to see your projects made with TCW products!
