“Winter” Mixed Media art Journal

Hello Crafty Friend,

Marie-Christine with you today with a winter and very colorful Art Journal page, as I like! I used four seasonal stencils, TCW5006 Woodgrain, TCW515 Pinecones, TCW870 Fir Branch, TCW5008 Random Dots. Hope to bring you some magic in your day.

Mixed Media Art Journal

I start by making the background with some brown and gold Distress spray.

I make a wood imitation with TCW5006 Woodgrain and garnet ink.

I add some more gold ink spray on the background.

I Use TCW870 Fir Branch with TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste. When it is dry, I apply color with watercolor paint.

I add pine cones with TCW515 Pinecones and TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste, that I paint in neon pink watercolor.

When everything is colorful, I adhere the two butterflies (Images found on Pinterest).

I often find that something is missing on my pages. Here it was! So, I search, I rack my brain, I take out all my TCW stencils and MIRACLE , an idea comes to me!

So, I use TCW5008 Random Dots with TCW9026 Champagne Gold Modeling Paste. Ah yes, it’s better!

Some more details.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!
