Using Clothing Tags for Christmas Tags

It’s almost Christmas and I’m still wrapping gifts and all I have left is black glittered wrapping paper and no tags. Like many of you, I keep clothing tags for future use. They are the perfect size for create tags for presents. To create my tags I used the following:

The Crafters Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

To start, I painted three tags with black gesso, let them dry, and then added black glitter paint to the front and back.

After the paint dried, I added the stencil designs to the tag with silver acrylic paint.

Next, I layered the Shape Landscape stencil and the tree stencil on top of each other and used Grecian Gold Modeling Paste through the shape landscape stencil design.

Now the tree is decorated and ready for Christmas.

I created the next two tags in the exact same way. When they all dried I added gold ribbon.

Although my glitter paint wasn’t the greatest, these tags will look wonderful on my gifts.
