Hello everybody! Nicole here with a fun mixed media layout I created for the holidays. This year, I doubt my family will host our Annual Wist Christmas Party due to Covid. So… I thought it would be fun to create a layout using a few of my favorite pictures from last year!

To begin, I used the TCW870 Fir Branch Stencil, inks and markers to color in the branches and pinecones through the stencil to create a fun background. I love this stencil and thought it would be a cool backdrop for the layout.

I used a blending brush to blend in the green ink over the stencil.

Then, I colored in the pine cones using a marker.

To create the title, I used the TCW880s Merry Tree Stencil and some ink using the same blending technique as the Fir Branch.

This layout turned out to be much more funkier than I had originally planned…but I like it! It’s different and I had fun playing around with the stencils and inks.

I used a variety of embellishments to mat and frame the photos to create a fun, festive, layout!
