Good Morning all! Helen here with a little art journal spread for you today using a variety of Mandala and stencil shapes! Mandala love!!!
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.
To start off my art journal, I first had to make some background pages! I did this using my Gell Press plate, some white acrylic paint, and some Color Sparkx!
I first added a thin layer of white acrylic paint directly onto my Gel Press plate. I then added some spots of the Orchid ColorSparkx from TCW9055 ColorSparx® Berry Punch and the Cerulean Blue and Chartreuse ColorSparkx from the TCW9057 ColorSparx® Poolside.
I then used a brayer and smooshed these around!! Love this effect!
Once this was dry, I used all the stencils listed here to make some circle shapes. I traced them using a Micron black pen and colored them in.
After having colored them, I cut them out into circles. I then used TCW9907 Clear Gesso and applied a thin layer to my black art journal page using a brush. I splattered some White ink over my page next using the tube in my ink bottle. I adhered the cut out circles to my page using TCW9011 Matte Gel Medium .
Once all this was dry, I doodles in some of my circles using a white pen, and added some shading around the circles with a Cobalt Blue and Black PITT pen. I added my little guy, with some washi tape and a sentiment! Voila.. done!
Thanks for taking the time to see my project for today!
We would love to see your projects made with TCW products!
