Hello Crafty Friends,
Here is my second project for this month of August, it’s still nice and warm here in France, I bring you a light summer breeze with this vintage page in my Art Journal. I chose 3 different stencils, TCW920 Tropical Fonds, TCW904 Petal burst, TCW592 Mumsy.
***THE CRAFTER’S WORKSHOP PROVIDED ME SOME PRODUCTS TO CREATE THIS PROJECT.THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE SOLELY MY OWN.***
I start by making the background with blue and green Distress Oxide. I spray some water by tilting my Art Journal to make drips.
I have tried several sprays and finally found the one that gives me the best result. A multitude of droplets which give a nice watercolor effect. I recommend this Spritz Bottle!
I continue with TCW592 Mumsy and some pink and green Distress Oxide on the top part of my page.
I adhere my vintage image found on Pinterest (you will find it HERE) with TCW9045 Matte Gel Medium, then I spread my texture with a spatula and TCW9005 White Modeling Paste and TCW920 Tropical Fonds.
I do the same with TCW904 Petal Burst at the top of my page.
Then, I add color to the dry Modeling Paste. I use watercolor with a thin reservoir brush to apply it.
I drew the flower stems with markers. I cut and adhere butterflies (HERE) and I add my title.
Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!
