The Crafters Workshop has 6×6 and 12×12 stencils with brilliant designs but 95% of the time I only use the 12×12 stencils. I love the larger designs because they make such a big impact on something small like an ATC – Artist Trading Card.
Today I’m going to show you how I used TCW863 Sunflower Meadow, TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste, and TCW9011 Matte Gel Medium to create quick and easy ATCs.
I gathered my supplies of paper scraps, paint and ATC cut from black cardstock.
I took my paper scraps and tore them in pieces and used gel medium to add them to the ATCs.
I used green paint and added the leaves from the Sunflower Meadow stencil to the background.
Using Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste I added the sunflowers. If you notice I added them in different spots on the cards. It’s okay to cut off the design.
I love the white modeling paste up against all the color and I almost left it white but I can’t leave it alone. I painted the flowers in different colors and added little word stickers to finish them.
Easy peasy right?
Here you can see them individually.
Using a large stencil design takes up room on the card. If you’re stuck on what to put on an ATC, a large stencil design is perfect.
We would love to see your ATCs created with TCW Stencils. You can share it with us on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.
