Hello Crafty Friends,
Marie-Christine with you today with a floral and exotic page in my Art Journal. I chose to create with the beautiful stencils TCW913 Lilacs, TCW915 Hibiscus and TCW834 Stone Increase.
***THE CRAFTER’S WORKSHOP PROVIDED ME SOME PRODUCTS TO CREATE THIS PROJECT.THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE SOLELY MY OWN.***

I start by making my background with green Distress Oxide and I spray some water on the page.

I use the TCW913 Lilac stencil with TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste at the top of the page.

While it dries, I prepare my Hibiscus. I use the TCW915 Hibiscus with green, orange and pink distress inks.

Then, I position my stencil again on the pattern and I add TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste.

I really like this technique, Distress then Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste. I find that the effect rendered softens the pattern. Have you ever tried?
I give a pebble effect at the bottom of my page with TCW834 Stone Increase and brown Distress ink.

Then I color TCW913 Lilac with watercolor paints.
I also really like this technique, the watercolor adheres very well to TCW9004 Light&Fluffy Modeling Paste.

I finish coloring TCW 915 Hibiscus with watercolor and cut it.
